Ikebana Installation & Client Experience
A project integrating spatial ikebana installation and client-facing experience design, developed for a contemporary luxury retail environment.
Project Overview
This installation was developed for LOEWE as a spatial and experiential project connecting ikebana with the brand’s presentation during Milan Design Week.
In Milan, I was invited to lead the spatial development of ikebana in connection with the presentation of leather baskets inspired by traditional bamboo craftsmanship. The project extended beyond floral arrangement to encompass the exhibition baskets, the store environment, and the main space used for workshops and private sessions, all developed through a unified spatial approach.
In Tokyo, I was entrusted with the ikebana installation for the opening of CASA LOEWE TOKYO, followed by client-facing sessions in which each arrangement was developed through a conceptual framework I proposed, integrating material selection, vessel, and spatial context.

Approach
My role was not simply to place flowers in a store, but to shape a visual and spatial rhythm that responds to architecture, objects, circulation, and the atmosphere of hospitality.
The work was developed through a contemporary ikebana language: minimal yet alive, sensitive to gravity, material character, and the relationship between vessel, plant, and surrounding space.
Alongside the installations, the client sessions extended the project from display into lived experience, allowing guests to encounter ikebana as both visual culture and embodied practice.
Concept
